DWIGHT POWELL CHILDREN AND FAMILY SUPPORT FUND
On October 18th Dwight Powell was fortunate enough to host the inaugural Night of Hope. A night where the Dwight Powell Children and Family Support Fund was created. This fund, at UT Southwestern Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, exists so that parents undergoing cancer treatments don’t have to make the difficult financial decision of choosing between paying for expensive medical care or providing a normal life for their child. Powell: “I know all too well the devastating toll cancer can take on a family, so it’s always been my dream to find a way to give back and help these children in their time of need.”
