After finishing his collegiate career at Iowa State University, Naz would go undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft. He played with the Sacramento Kings during NBA Summer League and would go on to sign a training camp contract with the Utah Jazz. Before the start of the season Naz would be assigned to their G League affiliate Salt Lake City Stars. In December of 2017, Naz signed a Two-Way contract with the Utah Jazz and would spend the remainder of the NBA season playing between the two teams. He made his NBA debut on December 26th, against the Denver Nuggets. He would go on to play for the Jazz & Stars through the 2019 season. In the summer of 2019, Naz signed a Two-Way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He would score his NBA career high on November 18th of 12 points in a win against the Brooklyn Nets.
